Punkty referencyjne, których używam do skanowania są odnajdywane przez skaner, oznaczane numerami przez co tworzymy sobie bazę tak aby skaner był w stanie odnaleźć położenie elementu w przestrzeni. Skaner oblicza środki elips (punkty chociaż  okrągłe, przez skaner są rozpoznawane jako elipsy), wyznacza pomiędzy nimi odległości i tak zapamiętany układ minimum 3 punktów zostaje zapisany w bazie. Zdjęcia są składane ze sobą za pomocą triangulacji, a istniejąca baza punktów zostaje poszerzona o kolejne pozycje. Najlepsze efekty uzyskuje się gdy punkty są rozlokowane chaotycznie, gdy nie ma w ich układzie żadnego porządku. Jednak nie raz bywało tak, że skaner pomimo naszych usilnych starań odnajdywał w tym chaosie porządek – stąd refleksja: nawet w chaosie który chcemy celowo wywołać można odnaleźć porządek.

 

Scanning

Reference points that I use to scan are found by the scanner and marked by numbers thanks to which we can create the base so that the scanner was able to find the position of the element. The scanner is calculating the center of ellipses (although the points have round shape, the scanner recognizes them as an ellipses), determines the distance between them, and so saved system of minimum 3 points, is stored in the database. Pictures are assembled using triangulation, and the existing base of points is expanded to include more items. Best results are obtained when the points are spread randomly, when there is no order. However, sometimes there were a situation, that the scanner was finding order in the chaos so therefore a reflection: even in the chaos that we want to cause deliberately it is a possibility to find an order.
